My whimsical, animal-inspired houses—some with flying hearts in the clouds, my cloud houses, and “Endangered Shelters, the California Bungalow," are acrylic on canvas and can be reproduced as Giclees in several sizes.
I‘m comfortable using the precise contrast of black and white, the checkerboard pattern is playfully reminiscent of vintage sweet shops, soda fountains, and classic cars.
This is my 3rd series which was created in the early 1990's. Originals and prints were featured at my first ART show in La Jolla, California.
This is a fun way to display the "Magical Houses & Abstracts" and how I have them in my home. I use the smaller paintings as accessories.
